Welcome to Aroma, a service provided by Aroma Technologies Pvt Ltd . These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Aroma mobile application, website, and related services. By accessing or using Aroma, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. User Eligibility
1.1 Account Creation :
To access core features such as personalized recipes, pantry tracking, and community interactions, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
2. Services Overview
2.1 Personalized Recipes :
Aroma provides customized recipe suggestions based on your dietary preferences, pantry items, and usage history. These suggestions are generated using artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate or suitable for all users.
2.2 Pantry Management :
Aroma helps track the availability of ingredients. Users can manually update their pantry or use the food recognition feature to auto-detect items via camera input.
2.3 Aroma Card :
Aroma offers a digital or physical card that can be used for grocery purchases. Purchases made with the Aroma Card may be used to update your in-app pantry and may qualify for reward points or offers from partnered vendors.
2.4 Community Features :
Users may rate, share, and upload recipes. Aroma reserves the right to remove content that violates our community guidelines or local laws.
2.5 Meal Planner & Finance Tools :
Features such as meal calendars and expense tracking are provided for your convenience and may use data from your pantry and purchases.
2.6 Third-Party Integration :
We may link to or integrate with third-party delivery platforms or services. Aroma is not responsible for the quality, reliability, or delivery of goods or services offered by third parties.
3. Privacy policy
At Aroma , we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. When you use our mobile application or website, we may collect details such as your name, email, pantry contents, preferences, and transaction data (for Aroma Card users) to provide personalized recipes, manage your pantry, process orders, and enhance your experience. We also collect device and usage data to improve our services. Your information is never sold, and it is only shared with trusted third-party partners like payment processors or delivery services when necessary. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. By using Aroma, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in this policy.
4. Subscription & Payments
4.1 Freemium Model :
Aroma offers both free and premium plans. Premium features include ad-free browsing, access to exclusive content, and personalized AI learning.
4.2 Subscription Fees :
Premium access is available through an annual subscription. Prices may vary and are subject to change. All payments are final unless otherwise required by law.
4.3 Ad Revenue & Commissions :
Free users may see ads in the app. Aroma may also earn a commission on ingredient orders placed through partner services.
5. User Conduct
You agree to :
- You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.
- If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify Aroma immediately.
Aroma reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions
6. Intellectual Property
All logos, trademarks, designs, and content in the app are owned or licensed by Aroma Technologies Pvt Ltd. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the app without prior written permission.
Content uploaded by users remains their intellectual property, but you grant Aroma a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display such content within the platform.
7. Limitation of Liability
Aroma is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of recipe or nutritional data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aroma Technologies Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aroma Technologies Pvt Ltd, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims or damages resulting from your use of the app, your content, or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Aroma at any time without prior notice if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Tamil Nadu, India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Salem, Tamil Nadu.
